How Does a Water Ionizer Work? - HEALTHandMED
To ionize means to gain or lose an electron. Direct current flows from (-) pole to (+) pole. Electron current (e-) is opposite to current (I), so the movement of electrons flows from (+) pole to (-) pole.

(See diagram below).

(-) pole gets the electrons H2O + 2e- = 2OH- + H2

(+) pole loses the electrons 2H2O – 4e- = 4H+ + O2

Does alkaline water work?

Alkaline water works to serve out a balance in the water,  This process is call acidosis. Naturally humans body alkaline levels are 7.4 which is slightly alkaline.

any fluctuation of this at little as 0.5 in blood pH can have serious side effects including death, but pH of the rest of the body can vary widely. in the stomach take for example, where

acids help us digest and process foods, the pH level can drop as low as 1.5 alkaline substances can cancel out the acidity. That is why we take things like TUMS to cancel out the antacids.

Alkaline water helps to improve the pH balance which will increase your energy, improve your concentration, and possibly reverse aging / prolong it.

While using an alkaline water ionizer can help improve your pH balance, using a foot detox machine such as the IonizeMe Maxx Dual Detox Foot Bath can also help rid your body of toxins and improve overall health.
