Mark Axelson founded HEALTHandMED.com in 2007. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa (1992) and an MBA from Brigham Young University (1997).

Before founding HEALTHandMED.com, Mark worked in the capital medical equipment industry, giving him professional experience with medical technologies, healthcare equipment, and the needs of healthcare providers.

Since 2007, Mark has led HEALTHandMED in the development, sourcing, evaluation, marketing, and support of health and wellness technologies. HEALTHandMED is the manufacturer of the IonizeMe Maxx Series Ionic Detox Foot Bath Systems and also provides technologies including SpectraLight light therapy systems, whole-body vibration equipment, and other wellness products.

HEALTHandMED relocated from Des Plaines, Illinois, to Cedar City, Utah, in 2009, where the company continues to operate today.

Dr. Terrance M. Cooper is a Doctor of Chiropractic who practiced chiropractic for 43 years before retiring from clinical practice.

He attended Sacramento Junior College and Brigham Young University before attending Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

During his chiropractic career, Dr. Cooper developed extensive hands-on experience with ionic foot bath technology. He administered more than 1,800 ionic detox sessions in his clinic and has personally undergone more than 300 ionic detox sessions.

Today, Dr. Cooper serves as Consulting Physician for HEALTHandMED.com, where he provides expertise regarding ionic detoxification and develops customized detox protocols for users of IonizeMe Maxx ionic foot bath systems and their families.
