Should I Take Nutritional Supplements Alongside Ionic Detox?
Nutritional Supplements and Ionic Detox Foot Bath
At HEALTHandMED, one question we’re asked often is if taking nutritional supplements are necessary during foot detox sessions.
When it comes to toxicity of the body, which can cause the body to behave in a variety of ways, the answer becomes a bit more difficult. Proper absorption of key vitamins and other nutrients can be prevented by a high toxicity, and by removing it, the body can function better and be better able to assimilate and utilize nutrients that are ingested. At some point, everyone is going to need nutritional support offered by supplements.
With Ionic Foot Detox sessions, we highly recommend Chelate-Mate.
However, they aren’t necessary to utilize during the ionic food detox session, since the detox session is itself a supplement. In fact, if you do choose to use supplements, it’s important to avoid using them too much. Over-supplementation, particularly with children with autism, can actually increase toxicity, so it’s important to find the right balance, which can be discovered based on your situation and medical needs. Working with a practitioner can help you formulate a plan for using supplements with Ionic Foot Detox foot baths.
Just make sure you wait until after your Ionic Detox session to take any supplements, as you’ll need to replenish those that are lost as a result of the treatment.
Detoxification is an important part of health, though Western cultures have not taken detoxification seriously enough yet. At HEALTHandMED, We believe that detoxification, along with the correct balance brought by proper diet, utilization of supplements, effective exercise program, and proven mental/emotional stress management techniques will ensure everyone has the long and healthy life they deserve.
