Discover the Natural Healing Properties of Essential Oils with Your Own Vapor Rub
Essential Oils are, of course, quite useful products when they’re used by themselves, but they can also be used in a wide variety of applications, whether you’re a body-builder, health guru, or even a prepper. One of these applications is a DIY vapor rub, which will help you breath easier when you have a cold, without applying potentially harmful chemicals to your body.
Needed Essential Oils and Other Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Coconut Oil
- 15 drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil
- 15 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
- 15 drops Rosemary Essential Oil
- 10 drops Cedarwood Essential Oils (optional)
Put your coconut oil in a bowl and add the essential oils. Whip them together with a fork or whip until the mixture is light and fluffy. Next, transfer it to a small, clean jar and that’s it! You’re done.
Alternatively, you can substitute olive oil or any other preferred carrier oil for the coconut oil. You may also use a combination of carrier oils.
Rub the mixture on your chest or muscles to enable vapor therapy.
